DAY 1: Leave Nairobi at 8.00a.m. to drive Moshi via Namanga border arriving moshi the late afternoon,dinner and overnight at moshi hotel (Bed and breakfast)
DAY 2: After breakfast transfer to Umbwe gate(1900m) where the trekking starts. Hike for 12kms to the forest cave(2750m) for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: Hike for 10kms to Barranco hut(3900m) for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4: Hike for 8kms to karanga valley camp site(4200m) for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: Hike for 8kms to Barafu hut(4700m) for dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: Attempt Uhuru peak(5895m) at 1.30a.m. After sunrise, descend to Barafu camp for a simple breakfast then descend to mweka camp for dinner and overnight
DAY 7: After breakfast Leave the mountain via Mweka gate for a short drive to Moshi where the tour ends.
